“For the second consecutive year, BluesRoot is teaming up with Dollars for Scholars to raise money for for deserving local students. Last year’s successful event resulted in two scholarships!
“BluesRoot Concert for Dollars for Scholars” will be held Friday, June 20, 2008 at the Holiday Inn Grand Island Resort and Conference Center. The event will be held in the Grand Ballroom and run from 7:30 until 10:30. Doors will open at 7 pm. Prizes will be given away during the show. Advance tickets are $20 for admission. A portion of the ticket price goes directly to the scholarship funding. Food and beverage will be available for purchase. Your ticket purchase and attendance is critical to the success of the effort.
