Brief
BluesRoot is a unique Americana blend of early blues, rockabilly, and '50's/'60's rock 'n roll. BluesRoot teases you with hints of Elvis, Carl Perkins, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and other greats.  Originals capture the feel of that great era. Act is a solo, duo, trio, or four piece.  BluesRoot also includes a solo spin off show by PapaRoot (John D. Moore) that focuses on story tellers such as Woody Guthrie, Leadbelly, Bob Dylan, The Everly Brothers, Hank Williams, Sr., Johnny Cash, Creedence Clearwater Rivival and others.

Biography
BluesRoot songs are a unique Americana blend of early blues, rockabilly, and '50's and early '60's rock and roll influences.
BluesRoot pays tribute to the greats and the songs that laid the foundation to America's rock and roll heritage.  In addition, the Root delivers the same made in America feel on their own original music.
Described as "Americana blues/rock", the ten songs on BluesRoot's own "Live. Real. In the moment." grab you where you live...the way you live...and how you'd like to live.
Rhapsody lists the CD as one of the 200 most significant new releases. Songs have received airplay on over 400 steaming internet and brick and mortar radio stations.
Full of satire, double meanings, and real life insight, BluesRoot songs, both tribute and original, are emotion filled musical journeys that make you smile, laugh and cry. They tease you with hints of Elvis, Carl Perkins, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Muddy Waters and other '50's greats. They deliver a unique musical treat for the soul.

All the original songs were written by '60's music veteran, John D. Moore. He sings, plays acoustic/electric and slide guitar, and adds blues influenced harmonica too. John performs as a solo act using RootMaster (from BluesRoot). Art Borgeson, another lifelong musician, brings a mellow, uptown, Nashville sounding lead guitar, coloring each BluesRoot selection with just the right touch of mood enhancing feel.
When the duo expands to a trio or four piece they are joined by various  '60's music veterans, bass and harmonica.
Their "Live. Real. In the moment" CD was recorded live and real...just the way it is supposed to be. No year long studio gimmicks here. Just good songs, played in the moment, by guys who enjoy them.

Instrumentation
John D. Moore (RootMaster/PapaRoot solo)- singer/songwriter, acoustic electric rhythm guitar and harmonica.
Art Borgeson -(with John  as duo) electric lead guitar and backing vocals.
Various veteran harmonica and bass players. (as trio or four piece.)
